my trip to USA(day 8)

Today,we went to take a cruise and sailed under the golden gate bridge and passed by Alcatraz,a former prison, now a popular tourist attraction.We also went to Union square after eating clam chowder.At night , we took a cab to Chinatown for dinner and then we took a cab back to our hotel and slept.

my trip to USA(day 7)

Today, we went to San Francisco.We ate lunch at Monterey Bay's fisherman's wharf.The food was very good. I slept on most of the trip.At night, we reached and went to take photos at the golden gate bridge at nightWe also went to 17 miles,a dense forest.We went to this rock where there were sea lions everywhere.

Today, we went to Hoover Dam and the Grand Canyon.I ate american indian food, sat on a helicopter, and sailed down the Colorado river.We also sat, walked, and lied flat on the Grand Canyon skywalk.It was 100% made of glass and was very scary if you looked down.The heli ride was very loud.This is the end of day6,5th dec 2008.

Today,we went to Las vegas.We shopped some more and went to watch a show for about five minutes and then, we went to see a giant gold nugget discovered in USA by an australian boy using a metal detector.But first, we walked past a casino.We walked past a man who just won some money from jackpot. I also visited the mirage hotel,the venetian hotel,treasure island, mgm grand and the new york hotel.We stayed in Imperial palace hotel.

Today, we went some for some more shopping and then, we headed to Palm Springs.We sat on the Palm springs aerial tram and went to the top of the mountain.There was a bit of snow and we played with it until my father came to get us in for dinner.There was rumoured to be mountain lions living there.This is the end of day 4.

Today, we went to Disneyland.We sat on the haunted mansion ride,the Indiana Jones ride,Space mountain etc.We also went to California adventure park where we watched a Bug's life 4D movie and sat on a rocket ride.When we went back, I sat on Finding nemo:submarine voyage,Star Tours and Space mountain.I liked it the best.This is the end of day 3.

Today, we went to Hollywood.First,we went to see a street where the footprints or hand prints of movie stars were printed.Next, we went to the Universal Studios Hollywood.We sat on the Simpsons ride,The Terminator 2 3D,the Shrek ride, the mummy's revenge ride, the Jurrasic Park ride and we saw the thrilling water world show.But the main highlight of the tour was the Hollywood studio tour.We went to see the film sets of Desperate housewives,Heroes, C.S.I.,etc.that was the end of day 2.

After an exhausting 16 hrs on plane, I reached L.A.(los Angeles).First, we went to the santa monica beach.After that,we went to a museum.We went to the garden there.Lastly, we went to the place where they used to hold the Grammy awards but I was too sleepy to notice.At night, we all went to china town for dinner.That was the end of day 1.

Today, I received my PSLE results.I got 218/300.I got 2As,1B and 1C.I had the same score as my friend, Jing Kai.I do not know how to describe my feelings now.But, I need to thank god that I went into Express.Today, is the worst day of my life.

where I went today

Today, we went to the Dee Why beach. I caught a "Fugu",also named the puffer fish. I caught using a Macdonald's happy meal box and a bottle.Before that, I had swam in the cold waters of the beach.

What happened today

Today,we went to the Taronga Zoo.We went and saw amazing creatures that Singapore Zoo did not have,such as, the andean condor,the gorilla,the snow leopard,the red panda,the kodiak bear and the tasmanian devil.Ihave included some pictures here.

What happened so far

On my third day in Australia,my cousins went to a birthday party.A rather childish one ,in fact.Only my sister would like it.So far,I have eaten TEN oysters,six raw and four cooked.It is very nice. I prefer the raw oysters.For dinner today, I ate beef steak and apple blackberry tart.

The only place that I have gone to is the Dee Why beach.I got my whole body wet and I had to buy a new pair of pants as I did not bring any extra pants.Here are some pictures to enjoy.

My second night in Sydney, Australia

Tonight is my second night in Sydney,Australia.

Today,we went on a fishing trip.Unfortunately,we caught no fish except for a juvenile Bream and a humongous

jellyfish.Miraculously, the Bream was lured to the hook by a piece of chicken kebab.I also learned how to cast my rod properly.The hardest part of it was to wait for the fish to come and bite my hook.

What happened today, 23 October

Today,we had a talk from River Valley High School.Quite unfairly, only 6Care and 6Diligence could listen to the talk. I find this quite unfair as although they are worser than us, they should have their fair share of the talk as well! The teachers are actually telling us that the other classes have no hope to getting into River Valley High School and will not make it.I think that is very unfair of them as teachers always teach us to be considerate when they are not considerate themselves!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

who I vote for America"s next president

Like everybody else, I vote for senator Barrack Obama.I choose him as he is young and capable, not like John Mccain, who is the sort of person who will die of a heart attack in his first day in the office. So, you have my support ,senator Obama!

Dear readers,

today at school, I had a wonderful time.
